The latter governs unique soft magnetic properties of nanocrystalline alloys which determine their practical applications.<\/p>\n<p>In the first part of the talk, a brief summary of nanocrystalline alloys will be given. Then, the use of several analytical techniques comprising DSC, AFM, MFM, M\u00f6ssbauer spectrometry including CEMS, XRD with conventional as well as synchrotron radiation, TEM, HREM, cross-sectional TEM, electron diffraction, and positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy in the study of structural transformations will be demonstrated.
